In the context of the study "Shades of Noise", the Tinnitus Centre of Regensburg provides tinnitus patients with several sounds included in a smartphone app to affect their individual tinnitus. In this way patients can find the best auditory stimulus to suppress their tinnitus.

As a pilot study in the UNITI project, Shades of Noise aims to describe the effect of auditory stimulation on tinnitus.

We are currently looking for study participants all around the world! If you

- are older than 18 years

- already have tinnitus for more than 6 months

- have a smartphone with headphones

- are willing to participate in the study for 12 weeks

- are familiar with the english language

then please get in touch with our medical student Lisa Führlein. She will accompany you during the study and provide support in handling the app. Feel free to contact her at the following e-mail address: Diese E-Mail-Adresse ist vor Spambots geschützt! Please note: As the UNITI project study starting in 2021 involves study centres in Leuven (Belgium), Berlin and Regensburg (Germany), Athens (Greece) and Granada (Spain), we recommend that interested patients from these cities (or patients living in driving distance to these cities) do not participate in this pilot but in the UNITI project study itself next year. For further information please check https://uniti.tinnitusresearch.net/
