TINNET - Better Understanding the Heterogeneity of Tinnitus to Improve and Develop New Treatments
|The proposal “Better Understanding the Heterogeneity of Tinnitus to Improve and Develop New Treatments – TINNET” has been approved by the COST Committee of Senior Officials. This project will help to improve our knowledge about tinnitus, the treatment of the tinnitus patients and increases the already fruitful cooperation among tinnitus researches in Europe any further.
We are now inviting tinnitus researchers from as many european countries as possible to participate in the project. Read more at the TINNET website.

TINNITUS RESEARCH INITIATIVE IN NATURE BIOTECHNOLOGY
In the recent issue of Nature Biotechnology Christopher Cederroth et al. highlight the discrepancy between the high socioeconomic relevance of tinnitus and the very limited amount of public funding. The Tinnitus Research Initative is mentioned as an example how private donors try to approach this neglected field in order to attract the industry and public funding.
